Moving Right Along

We had a fun visit with Damian, Tandy and their kids who arrived at our place early Wednesday morning. It was great to have them here with us even if it was only for one day. We decided to go to Tahoe for a few hours. We did the Vikingsholm hike in Emerald Bay. It was a nice day, a little overcast so it wasn't too hot. I stole these pictures from google images because of course I didn't bother taking my camera! I'll just wait for Tandy to update her blog.

By the time we got down to the "Castle" it started to thunder and sprinkle, but regardless the kids still wanted to find a beach to swim in. We drove North to Tohoma City and found a nice little pebble beach. The kids all wanted to go play in the water even though it had dropped below 60 degrees! Burr, it was cold and raining, but they enjoyed it. Braeden is quite the rock skipper, I think he got 7 skips on one throw!

After our trip to the lake we came back to our house and Damian and Tandy were kind enough to buy pizza for everyone! Yummy. We went to bed pretty late and Hayden had his first sleepover with his cousins. He loved it! I wasn't sure if they would get any sleep but about five minutes after they all laid down, they were all out like a light! They all must have played and hiked hard at the Lake.

The following morning I had to go to work and take the boys back to daycare. So we got up did the normal routine, went to work and then I went to Susan's house to pick up the boys. The first thing Hayden said when I picked him up was, "Gonna see Ella, Lexi and Braeden!" He was so sad when he got home and his cousins had left. But while they were here we all had a great time! Thanks for coming to visit us Damian, Tandy and kids!

Haydenism's

I wanted to write a few things down that Hayden has said over the past year or so before I forget them.

For some reason Hayden really enjoys shopping. He started saying, "I wanna go shopping." about 6 months ago, I have no idea where he got it from, maybe hearing me and Casey complaining about how much we hate to go shopping?

Hayden's favorite character is Thomas the train. We now hear on a daily basis, "I want Thomas, mom!" and, "I wann pwray wif tacks." As Tandy does on her blog, translation: I want to play with tracks! It's so nice to have a child so easily entertained with any of his toys. He will sit on the living room floor and play for hours just pushing his trains along his tracks!

A few months ago Hayden was playing with Play Doh on his activity tray in the living room. Casey was at the top of the stairs looks down at Hayden trying to get his attention. Casey was calling Hayden's name and Hayden wouldn't give him the time of day. After a good minute or so of trying to get Hayden's attention, he finally yelled, "I'm busy dad!" And he still didn't even turn around to look at Casey; he just continued to play with his Play Doh without ever looking up to see Casey. Casey and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing!

I'm not so proud about this next Haydenism.......Casey and I had the TV on last night and weren't really watching what was on. I sat on the floor to change Corbin's diaper and heard "Bull *#@%" come from the TV. I didn't really think that much of it until I told Hayden it was time to change his diaper, to which he replied, "That's Bull @&*# mom!" Lovely! SO I told him that we don't say those words and changed the channel to the Disney Channel.

That same night Casey and I were getting ready to put Hayden to bed so we could watch a movie. I had the TV on and the Farmer's insurance sommercial came on. You know the ones that say, "We are Farmer's , bum ba dum dub bum dum dum" Well as soon as that little jingle played, that's all we heard for the rest of the night. "We are Farmer, bum da dum ba dum." That was much better to hear than the cuss words. I told Casey we can't watch PG-13 movies with Hayden in the room anymore. He repeats everything he hears now!

Anyway, that's all I can remember for now. I'll continue adding to this as I remember more.

Sacramento Trip

On Friday evening when I went to pick up Hayden from Susan's I had mentioned to her wanting to go to the Sacramento Zoo. Of course Hayden overheard and immediately wanted to go right then and there. When Casey got home from work all Hayden would talk about was, "I want to go see the animals." We told him maybe we would go in the morning assuming he would forget by then. Saturday morning 8am Hayden wakes up (he ended up sleeping in our bed) rolls over and says, "I wanna see the animals." How could we say no to that? We got up, packed some lunches and off we went to the Sacramento Zoo. The boys did fine on the ride over, Hayden just sat there waiting to see the animals and Corbin slept the entire way. We arrived about noon and walked around and saw several animals and exhibits. I took out my camera to take Hayden's picture next to the Flamingos. After one picture it said memory full! Ahhhh, I had left my SDM card in the laptop after updating from my last blog. Oh well at least we had out cell phones which worked just fine. There was also an Art show going on with several booths set up. We decided to eat lunch with the giraffes and after that we had pretty much seen the entire Zoo (you can pretty much see everything within an hour). They are remodeling several exhibits and all the animals usually sleep during the heat of the day so there wasn't much to see. Next time we go to a Zoo we'll have to make it San Diego and visit Damian's family while we are down there.

After the Zoo we were going to go over to Fairytale Town, but then thought Hayden's old enough to go to Thunder Land and ride the big kid rides. We were right, he loved it! The first thing you see when entering the park is train tracks, so him and Casey rode the train around the park. Next stop, the Dragon roller coaster. Hayden screamed the entire time and it goes around the track 3 times. I took a video which is posted below and you can hear him screaming the entire way. He also saw the kids in front of him throw their hands into the air, so he too did an entire lap without any hands.

We had one ticket left and found a ride that Hayden could do by himself. This went over really well, he's clearly bored to death especially after the Dragon roller coaster.

We also spoiled Hayden with a pony ride. He was so excited when the lady helped him mount the horse. I also posted video of this. I'm sure he would've ridden this thing all day long, but my allergies were horrible so we had to jet. Allergies were so bad for everyone down there that we went to a gas station who had run out of all their allergy pills. Casey managed to find Benadryl for me, which made me pass out almost instantly. I slept the entire way home fell asleep at 9 and slept until 10am. I woke up feeling like I had an allergy hand over, my eyes feeling like there were 1,000 grains of sand in them. So needless to say I didn't make it to church today for Mother's Day:( Even now it being over 24 hours since I took the Benadryl I feel soooooo sleepy. Hopefully my allergies and itchys will be gone before I go back to work tomorrow. Besides the severe allergy attack we had a fun family weekend at the zoo.

Baby Corbin Has Arrived!

Corbin Cary Rossman has arrived and made his grand entrance into this world on March 15, 2011 at 12:46pm. He weighed 8lbs 10oz and was 21 inches long. He's such a blessing to our little family. I must say, so far he is such a great sleeper and is a very quiet boy! I probably just jinxed myself by bragging so I had better stop.

Since I never blog, let me start from the beginning. We found out we were pregnant last July. From the very first week (ok about week 5 or 6) I had morning sickness. I had always heard that every pregnancy is different but I was hoping I would be one of the lucky few who never get morning sickness with any pregnancy. I never had any morning sickness with Hayden so it was such a shock when I would have to run to the toilet first thing in the morning or have to brush my teeth again after gagging on my toothbrush the first time.

My morning sickness lasted until about week 20. It was about that time when we got our first ultrasound and got to see our little guy. We decided that we did not want to find out the sex of our baby. We would be happy with whatever we got. Based on all my physical symptoms (morning sickness, baby heart rate, weight gain) I thought we would be having a girl. So we picked the name Kylie Michelle for a girls name. It wasn't until the day before we went to the hospital that we decided on the name Corbin and even then we hadn't chosen a middle name. We wanted to incorporate the name Klye or Cary into a boy's or girls name in honor of Casey's younger brother Cary.

In the morning of March 15th we all went to St. Mary's hospital to check me in. I had a scheduled C-section this go around since I had to have an emergency c-section with Hayden. Casey's mom Michelle was there with us, it was nice to have the extra help "nesting" the few days before Corbin got here. Everything went as planned and Corbin arrived that afternoon. It was neat not knowing what we were having. My doctor knew we didn't find out the sex so right when they got him out they pulled down the sheet so we could see what we had before they told us we had a boy!

When they brought me out of the recovery room an hour or so later, Hayden was waiting patiently in the room after asking, "Where mommy at?" about a million times. Hayden was so excited to see Corbin. When he went to the nursery with Casey to go look at him and Corbin wasn't in there he asked the nurse, "Where my baby go?"

We asked Hayden if he wanted to hold his baby brother and he held his arms out immediately and wanted to hold him right then and there. While holding him Hayden said, "My baby brother." and then kissed him on the forehead. It was so cute.

Hayden loves his baby brother and loves to give him kisses everyday.

Hayden's Two Year Stats

Hayden has his two year check-up last week. He's nice and healthy! Poor little guy had to have four shots, two in each leg. Needless to say he was not a happy camper the next couple of days! So this is where Hayden compares with other two year olds:

height: 36 inches (75%)
weight: 24.5 lbs (25%)
head: all she gave me was he is in the 50th percentile for this.

So there you have it my little boy is becoming a big boy! So sad how fast they grow:(

Here are a few things Hayden is doing now that he is a big boy. As you can see the above picture he dresses himself, but usually get his shorts backwards AND inside out! He can throw a ball the distance of our living room, which is close to 30 feet, what an arm this kid has. His dad is so proud of him. We think he is a lefty as he does most everything including eating and drawing with his left hand.

Hayden doesn't speak much, but he knows what everything is. When we read bedtime stories he can point to all the things that I ask him. He is a good little helper and while he is also good at making messes, he will help mom clean his messes up! He's just your typical two year old boy, soaking it in one day at a time. We love him and are so grateful for our Hayden

Our 4th of July

This is my All American Boy! Love him to pieces!
One of our friends in our ward invited us to their 4th of July BBQ. Susan is also Hayden's old daycare provider when I was working. Hayden just loves her! We had a good time visiting, laughing, eating, and watching movies with everyone. It was a perfect day for a backyard BBQ, well minus a little bit of wind, but that's expected in Northwest Reno!

Hayden had some sort of fascination with these buckets and eventually got them stuck on his head! Reminded me of a horse feeding bag. My silly little guy.

Hayden just loves to play with my camera any chance he gets. Here are a few pictures he took so you can see his great picture taking abilities. Future photographer?

Hayden found the squirt guns and went around shooting everyone. At least it wasn't a super soaker! Hayden was really focused on getting his dad all wet, but wasn't too successful. After a while he got board of it and decided to just squirt the water into his mouth.

Here are all the kids watching Aliens in the Attic. It was a cute movie.

Casey and I played a friendly game of Bop-it. I lost every game not ever getting over 42. Casey blew me out of the water with a high score of 69. He's still taking on any challengers!

Hayden loved playing with all the toys and especially loved dessert, his favorite, chocolate chip cookies. Yummy!

So all in all we had a good 4th of July. Kinda bummed we didn't get to do any fire works:( Oh well that's expected when you live in a desert I guess.

Temple Square SLC

This is the first time Casey and I have been to Temple Square since before we were married. So it's been about eight or nine years. We had a nice time on the Temple grounds and at the visitors center. We walked around for an hour or so before we had to hit the road again to get back home.

I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and for everything he has done for me. I love Him so much and am grateful that He sacrificed His own life to atone for my sins so I can live with Him and my Father in Heaven again. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and am so grateful for my family. I know that I can have an eternal family if I am true and faithful in this life here on earth. I love my wonderful handsome husband who is the most patient, loving and forgiving man I know. It takes a strong man to put up with me, but he does and he does it well! I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to stay at home with my little boy for the past few months and watch him grow. It has truly been a blessing. I only hope I can be a good example to him like the mothers of the 2000 stripling warriors were! I love Hayden, he brings such a sweet spirit into our home. I am truly blessed to have had such great parents to bring me up in the gospel and teach me right from wrong, and I thank them for that. I love this Statue of the Savior, it always reminds me how much we are all loved by him!

I love to see the temple......la la la la la la.....Love that song too!

Virginia City

My dad and Grandma came out to Reno to visit, they brought Caysha too! She stayed with us until everyone else got here for the reunion. But we all went to Virginia City for the day. We looked in tons of little shops, like the one below. Hayden found the horses nostril and loved to pick it....oh well at least it's not his own nose!

Another one of our Sacramento Zoo adventures! However, Hayden is not quite into all the animals yet. A lot of them were hard to see back in their cages casue it was a hot day (over 90) when we went. Oh well, there is always next time. Or maybe we should go visit Damian and Tandy and go to a real Zoo, like the San Diego Zoo!

178 Miles of pure bliss!

I took part in the Reno Tahoe Odyssey this year which consisted of a group of 12 people running 178 miles around Reno, Tahoe, Virginia City and back to Reno within two days. Our team didn't do too well this year it took us just over 30 hours to complete, as opposed to last years time which was 27 hours. I competed with my gym Battle Born Crossfit. We had a blast. I ran legs 10, 22 and 34 which totaled 18.5 miles. I injured my foot and was not able to finish the last 3 miles. Oh well, there is always next year!

This was taken in May when we went to Utah for Michelle's birthday. She was able to get all her kids together for a picture when we went to Don Miguel's for her Birthday dinner. This was the first time all of her kids have been together for a picture since our wedding back in 2003. So it's been a while!

All six kids together! Cary, Choss, Caysha, Corom, Casey and Calen. I think Calen was looking at Hayden who was of course causing a ruckus in the restaurant.

This was the night Cary made it back to Cedar City, all his brothers helped bring him into the funeral home.

All the Paulbearers, Tom (Cary's best friend), Calen, Corom, Casey, Choss and Uncle Dan (Cary's favorite Uncle).

The Rossman family. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful service, the spirit was so strong there and Cary was with us that day too, I'm sure of it!

Time for an update!

It is time for a much needed blog update. It’s been a crazy past year here in the Rossman Residence! First and foremost, I am now a full time mommy! I resigned from the Police Department after working the streets almost 5 years. It’s wonderful to be at home with Hayden everyday and to be home when Casey gets home from work. We now function as a true family! No more working all hours of the night and dealing with the local criminals. I love being a mom and teaching Hayden new things. I no longer work on Sundays, so we can go to church every week. It was tough at first since I have pretty much worked every day for the past 10 years at one job or even two jobs at once. But after a few weeks there is no other place I would rather be.

Last Thanksgiving Casey’s family came to Reno to visit. It was nice to have them all here. Choss was nice enough to finish painting and edging the very top of our 22 foot ceilings. Kind of funny that it wasn’t until this past weekend when Casey and I finally finished all the painting. It may take us a while, but we get the job done!

Last month Casey’s family came to town for the Swartz family reunion which was held on June 19th in Minden at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Howie, Michelle, Cary and Caysha all came up for the event. We had such a great time visiting with cousins and relatives that we have not seen in a few years. However we had a sad ending for such a great day. Casey’s younger brother Cary passed away that evening.

Cary had suffered from asthma his entire life and was just hospitalized the month before for a sever asthma attack. The day of the reunion Cary had played basketball, volleyball and jumped in the jump house with all his cousins. He had such a great time that whole day. Later that evening he started feeling an asthma attack come on so he took his nebulizer treatments which didn’t seem to help. Grandma had an oxygen machine so Cary was using oxygen plus his treatment. It also didn’t help and he told us we needed to go to the hospital because this was the worst it had ever been. We got Cary in the car at 11:15pm. Casey, Caysha, Hayden and I followed in our car. We hit every red light going through the valley and Michelle managed to catch every green light. We caught up with them in the middle of Carson City and NHP was behind Michelle’s car in the median of the road, and that was at about 11:23pm.

Me and Casey got out of the car and looked at Cary who was already blue and had not been breathing for 3-4 minutes. We pulled him out of the car because the bag that NHP was using wasn’t getting any air into Cary’s lungs. I started CPR on him while NHP called for an ambulance. However, all the air I gave him just bypassed his lungs and went straight into his stomach because he was already swollen shut. The ambulance got there and loaded Cary in and worked on him the entire way. The doctor at the hospital came into the room we were in and told us he didn’t make it just shortly before midnight. It all happened so fast.

It was really hard for all of us that night. It’s still hard to even believe that he’s gone. His funeral was on June 26th in Cedar City. It was a beautiful service, the diversity of the group was amazing, just goes to show you how he was a friend to all and everyone he met loved him so much. He was such a light to all those who knew him, such a sweet forgiving and loving man. He is greatly missed.

Here’s a cute story. When we were at the viewing, I brought Hayden in to the Relief Society room where Cary was laying in his casket. Hayden pointed to Cary as if to say, “Why isn’t he getting up to play with me?” Then he looked behind him and pointed to a picture of Jesus. I asked Hayden if Cary was with Jesus right now and Hayden nodded his head to say yes. It was a very touching moment. Hayden knows Cary is in a good place and with our Father in Heaven.

Casey and I took 1-80 route home instead of Hwy 50 and were able to stop and visit with my aunt Gayla and cousin Angela. We also went to Temple square and got to see one of Casey's old mission companions in Tooele. I love the I-80 route so much more than the other drive!

Hayden also turned two on June 20th! Sadly I don't have any pictures cause we were all drained that week and had no energy to do much of anything. But I do have pictures of other events that I will be posting after this post.

Father's Day

This Father's Day we were lucky enough to have Casey's Dad Howie with us. Howie recently had his right leg amputated 6 inches below the knee. He gets around really well with the help of a cane. While Howie, Michelle and Caysha were here we decided to go to the park and play nerf baseball. There was a bench right next to us so Howie could watch and enjoy. For those of you who don't know, Howie used to play baseball and softball and used to coach Casey and his brothers, so watching and not playing was killing him. After Casey pitched a few to Caysha and she slammed one right over his head, Howie decided he wanted to play too. Casey pitched to him and Howie made contact with the ball quite a few times, even if it was with his foot! Howie also got to pitch a few to Casey. It was really enjoyable to watch Howie have so much fun with a couple of his kids and be able to enjoy his favorite past time he thought he could never do again with a prosthetic.

Almost a year!

We are mounting the TV sometime this next week and putting everything else in the garage on the server rack that Casey is working on right now just so Hayden doesn't do this anymore!

He looks so Innocent! But he's not.

We went to the park and he acctually wore his sunglasses for about 10 mins before he started eating them.

Hayden gets more food on the floor than in his mouth.

He loves dinner time, as long as he has a spoon.

Hayden's first Giant's game. They even won!

Hayden's cupboard. I got sick of having to clean up after him, so I just took everything out of the cupboard and let him have it. It was the only one with out a child lock on it. I think the people who lived here before us used it as their Tupperware cupboard.

I got Hayden a Baseball with a bat and a soccer ball. Which do you think he likes more? That's right it's soccer.........sorry Casey he's gonna be a soccer player like his momma!

A Long Needed Update

Well first and most importantly Hayden is officially walking. He is a walking tornado! It's a lot of fun to watch him even though he is so destructive.

We went to San Francisco last month so me and few of my co-workers could run the Bay to Breakers 12K. After that Casey and Hayden met me down there and we went to a Giant's Game. Hayden lasted all the way to the 7th inning! After the game I finally let Casey get his dream car......an Audi S4. We got a good deal on it so Casey now has his own car.

Bay to Breakers! We dressed up, better than a lot of people who dressed down (lots of nudies). We had a lot of fun. We need to think of a good costume idea for next year......anyone have any good ideas?

Hayden's Newest Adventures

Hayden loves to play the piano with me, although it's kinda hard to play with a baby on your lap.

We decided that since Hayden likes to bombard the dogs while in their kennel, Casey would put the dogs in Hayden's crib. Turned out Hayden didn't mind too much and the dogs were the ones who were once again annoyed.

Looks like we have another baseball player in the house......maybe a pitcher like his daddy!

And as you can see below, I'm sure there is some love, just more being scared on Hayden's part. Below is Lexi, Ella, Caroline, Braeden and Hayden (I know what were we thinking with the rhyming names!)

A few weeks ago I asked a co-worker if I could borrow a jogging stroller so I can get ready for my triathlons and other races I have planned this year. This was the first time Hayden and I went out and it was cold and windy. But Hayden fell right asleep and enjoyed our short 3 mile jog. I didn't realize how incredibly difficult it was going to be with a 20 pound kid an the weight of the stroller.....so needless to say my "jog" was more of a fast paced walk for the last 1.5 miles. Oh well I'll get there soon enough and come race dace without the stroller will make the race fly by!

Last week I was in the kitchen on the computer and I kept on hearing the kennel door slam. I go around the corner and find Hayden sitting inside. What a goof ball. The picture directly below Rome was in there too and Hayden cornered him in there. Now Rome and Athena have no escape from the little monster.

All day long it's in and out of the doggy kennel. He thinks it's so funny to go in there and slam the door closed behind him.

On Wednesday Keoni yelled to me downstairs when I was getting ready for work and said, "Katie, look at what your son just did." Oh great, what now.......but I was pleasantly surprised to find this. Hayden had crawled into the dogie bed and fell asleep. However, when I tried to move all the wires and cords away from his head, he woke up.

Since Hayden's been teething, he has been playing with his hands a lot...I think it helps with the pain. Anyway we were driving last week and he was being so cute.

Merry Christmas!

I introduced Hayden to the Tupperware cupboard tonight. I think he really liked it! The nice thing is that I won't have to worry about him getting into it all the time because there are childproof locks on the cupboards. Now the DVD's on our stand is another thing, I must pick those up at least 3 times a day now!

This is what I decorated our tree like this year. The picture doesn't do it justice, I was really proud of the bow and ribbon job I did. And not to mention the tree is a bit crisp now, so it's not as green as it was a few weeks ago.

Casey and Hayden took a nap after Hayden opened his presents Christmas morning.

Crawling and Curious

I thought I would give a quick update on Hayden since he is now 6 months old. He loves to put everything in his mouth. He has two teeth now and he is now eating solid foods. Well if you can call Gerber 1st Step Foods solid! He loves peas and carrots the best.

Hayden loves to read the newspaper adds. It's his favorite thing to do on Wednesdays, help mom open the mail and play with all the envelopes and paper.

We finally got a new couch. Well it's new to us, my friend at work sold it to us because they just moved into a new house and got a new couch, so we were more than happy to take it off their hands for them!

And last but not least, he's done it! Hayden is officially crawling as of the 19th. He had been scooting for the past 3 weeks or so. Now I guess I really need to baby proof everything. His favorite thing to crawl to is the TV stand with drawers. And of course the first thing he does when he gets there is slam his fingers in it, then he hits his head on it too.

Casey and I bought Rome and Athena a new dog bed, but Hayden got to try it our before them! I thought I'd just post some pictures of Hayden and show off how fast he is growing. What a cuttie.

Thanksgiving Weekend

For Thanksgiving Weekend my parents and Eric came to Reno to visit us. We had fun playing games, watching movies and just hanging out. Mom was nice enough to take our family photos. It's hard to get everyone (dogs included) to cooperate and look at the camera all at once, but we managed to get a few good ones. I was able to get Thanksgiving off and the following Friday. I had my first Black Friday experience at Wal-Mart, let me just tell you -- it will be my last. What a mad house! Oh well I went for three things and managed to find all three and get out of there within an hour.

So last month for Vetrans Day Weekend me and Hayden flew down to Las Vegas for All Girls Weekend. Yes, I know Hayden is not a girl, but an exception was made since I already needed to go to Vegas to meet my mother-in-law Michelle so we could fly to Missouri for a training seminar. Anyway, I had a lot of fun visiting family and taking off work to relax.

I recently bought Hayden a jumping play seat. He loves it! Although sometimes he gets frustrated because he wants to put everything in his mouth and he can't reach some of the toys. One of Hayden's newest thing to do is to suck on his toes. Here are a few pictures of the past weeks activities.

I went to our ward's Trunk or Treat this past Tuesday and dressed Hayden up in his bear costume. It was a lot of fun. My friend KayLynn and her son Carson were also there, he was a pumpkin. Hayden and I go walking with them in the mornings before work.

Something New

I decided that I was sick of being a blond and dyed my hair a dark brown. I like it, but it took a while to get used to. Hayden is so much fun! We love to hang out before I have to go to work everyday. He is such a talker, always babbling. I tried to post a video of him, but I couldn't find my videos on the computer, oh well maybe next time.

Everything in our life seems new and different now. We are new parents, homeowners and now I have a new look to go with everything else.

NEW HOUSE!

Hooray. It's a done deal. We closed escrow on Tuesday the 7th, so now we officially have our own house. It's been a hectic week to say the least. We got our keys at 5:30pm on the 7th and the U-haul all packed with our big furniture items to unload that night. Today is the 13th and as of last night we still have a lot to do at the old house. Casey was able to take off the entire week and his dad and brother Cary came through town this past week as well. Cary was a big help and was able to pack a few loads up with Casey. Today's big task is to clean the old place. Such a daunting task! As soon as I get our new place all put together I will post some pictures with our stuff in the house. But until then this is the photos our Realtor took for us when we got our keys and a few photos of Howie and Cary with Hayden.

Life

I am really horrible at blogging. Well for those who haven't heard, Hayden James Rossman was welcomed into our family on June 20, 2008. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I must say we have really been blessed with such a great baby. He's so quiet and rarely ever cries (sorry Tandy) and not to mention he sleeps through the whole night! The past three months have been a blast watching him grow and get a personallity.

I must say Casey does such a great job with him and it's so cute to see them playing together. Casey gets to do bedtime 4 nights a week while I am at work. I went back to work just 9 weeks after I had Hayden. It's nice to be back in a routine, but I hate leaving Hayden:( I wish I could just stay at home.

We have one of our friends brother watch Hayden until Casey gets home from work aroun 6 or 7 every Wednesday- Friday. Then one of my friends from work will watch him on Saturdays. It's very convienent and not to mention much cheaper than the 168 bucks a weeks I was spending for just 3 days a week in child care.

Casey and I just purchased our first home, we get the keys next Tuesday. I am so excited to finally have our own place to call home. No more moving. We have moved four times in the past 3 years, hooray no more moving for a while after next week!! We even get to stay in the same ward. Not bad, the past three moves and we managed to stay within our ward boundaries. So needless to say we have had many changes over the past few months and are just enjoying life right now.

Just a few photos of the new place.....however, nothing in these photos belong to us. We took these photos the day we went house hunting so it was still occupied by the current owners. But it gives you an idea how big the place is.
